Eligibility and how to apply—Fall 2024 app due 3/1!
A full range of liberal arts courses in the social sciences, visual and performing arts, the humanities, and some STEM fields (applied math, environmental studies, and computer science). Visit academic department pages for more information. At the time of participation, students must be juniors with a >2.75 GPA.
Of particular interest is the Discover India Program, which is a full course students take with FLAME student peers that takes a deep dive into one aspect of Indian culture and history. It is an excellent opportunity to immerse in FLAME student life and learn about Indian culture!
This exchange is available in the fall semester only.
Housing and Meals
Students live in on campus in a residence hall alongside local students. All meals may be taken in one of FLAME's cafeterias around campus. Visit campus virtually here.

- Amherst's comprehensive fee for tuition, room, and board

Credits to your AC account
- $1,800 personal expense allowance
- Up to $2,000 airfare credit based on the actual ticket cost
Students should budget for other expenses, such as visa fees. Financial aid is fully transferable. More information is online.
